Our #RamFam "Living Legends" will be recognized in a special ceremony on Thursday, August 29th at 6:00 PM. Honorees will be given an invitation tomorrow in their homeroom class. "Living Legends" honorees must have earned at least "Mastery" or above in one or more content areas of the LEAP assessment, scored "At or exceeds goal" on the LEAP Connect assessment or have meet the requirements for exiting the EL program having met criteria on the ELPT assessment. We cannot wait to celebrate! #RamsLEAD

Our Ram Volleyball team was in action this weekend off the court! They served area students and teachers by engaging in BPSB's "Fill the Bus" supply drive and also partnered with Kendra Dinkins with "Building our Babies" to feed and supply students to ensure a strong start to the new school year. We are proud of the investments that these young ladies are making to help others be successful. They are giving the word "serve" a new meaning! #RamsLead #RamsVolleyball #BossierSchools

Bossier Schools has revised its cell phone policy in response to a new state law that restricts students from using cell phones and other electronic devices during the instructional day. Please note the following revisions:
Cell phones must be turned off and stowed during instructional time, including from the time students get on/off the bus or in/out of a personal vehicle while on campus;
Electronic communication devices, including but not limited to personal computers, laptops, electronic instruments, iPads, iPods, tablet devices, e-readers or similar devices, must be powered off and properly stowed for the duration of the school day.
Each violation will result in the collection of the cell phone/electronic device. More information regarding disciplinary action can be found in school handbooks.
*Please note the revised policy does not apply to students who have an Individualized Education Program (IEP)/Individualized Accommodation Plan (IAP), Section 504 plan or Individualized Health Plan that requires use of an electronic telecommunication device.

The Bossier Chamber of Commerce will be holding their annual 'Pack the Bus' school supply drive benefiting Bossier Schools. We hope you'll help out with this year's event! Come by the Wal-Mart Supercenter Thursday, August 1 from 11:30 to 1:30 and drop off much needed supplies to help our teachers fill the gaps in their classrooms.

Grades 3-8 LEAP Student Reports from Spring 2024 were emailed to the primary parent/guardian’s email address today. The email will include instructions for accessing your child’s score reports. If you do not receive the emails, please check your spam folder and ensure that you are checking the email account listed as the primary parent/guardian in OnCourse.
