This week we’re spotlighting Mrs. Tamra Hamm, our Instructional Coach at BMS!
💜Her role: Instructional Coach – she’s here to support teachers so that students get the very best learning experience possible.
🤝How she helps: You might find her co-teaching a lesson and modeling a new strategy, helping teachers dive into student data to see where kids need extra support, or leading professional learning communities where teachers share ideas and learn from each other.
🎯Her focus: Every action she takes points back to one goal → student success. By helping teachers grow in confidence and effectiveness, she ensures every student gets a stronger education.
💬 “The success of your student is what drives everything I do.”
💜Her wish for families to know: Her role isn’t about judging or evaluating teachers—it’s about encouraging and supporting them, just like students are supported as they grow.
💬 “Think of me as a resource to help teachers find new strategies, try out different lesson plans, or get fresh ideas for engaging students.”
📚Experience she brings: With 12 years of teaching middle school, she knows the classroom inside and out.
💜Her favorite part of BMS: Working with a team she describes in one word → Resilient. The challenges in education are real, but our staff adapt, support one another, and they never lose sight of our purpose: helping our students achieve the highest levels of learning.
💬 “It’s incredibly inspiring to see them share ideas, problem-solve together, and celebrate each other’s victories.”
